Why 90% of Network Marketers Fail and How You Can Avoid It
Being a network marketing contrarain
By Brian Johnson
Did you know that 90% of all people in the network marketing fail! That’s correct, 9 out of every 10 people that come into this business will never achieve their hopes and dreams. One of my favorite quotes is, “Success leaves clues.” But so does failure. So if you want to be successful, do what the successful people have done. If you want to avoid failure… avoid doing what the people who have failed have done.
People flock to network marketing because of the simplicity of the system. They hear that the opportunity is a turn-key system that succeeds for everyone who follows it. So why do people fail, in record numbers in such a system? They fail because, they pick and choose which parts to follow and which parts not to follow.

Google Alerts Can Catch New Content in Blogs Now

The official blog of Google introduced a new type of Google Alerts search - Blog Alerts.
The new Blog Alert, will notify you about new blog search results, and the new tag in search “blogurl:” will restrict your alerts to a single site or domain. Also, you may use the other search operators in Google like “|, +, -,[,]”, etc.
Still, the term ‘as-it-happens’ in google alerts configuration is not very accurate, because sometimes it takes couple of days when the Google Alerts rings the bell, but in this case we have services like TheWebWatcher, that can alert you instantly when you know the exact site that you are watching.
Firefox 2 Officially Out
So, after Internet Explorer 7, today is the day of Firefox 2.
The new version is available at http://www.getfirefox.com/.
The new interface is not changed too much, and this is probably for good. A new, very nice inline spell checker is added, so when you type text in text areas, you’ll be suggested for corrections.
The new for the RSS and ATOM feeds is that users now see a preview of the content being offered and are given the option to subscribe to a feed as a Live Bookmark, using a Web service such as Bloglines, My Yahoo!, or Google Reader, or with a desktop application.
The ’security’ is enforced by Phishing Protection filter which is active by default with a local blacklist that updates hourly, rather than sending information to an external online service. Phishing Protection provides warnings, advice and guidance when Firefox encounters a Web site that appears to be fraudulent or malicious. This model of phishing protection differs somehow from the phishing protection presented in IE7, where users can “report a web-site” and create problems for webmasters.
So, you can go and try it for free: http://www.getfirefox.com/ !

Information disclosure bug blights IE7 release
Security researchers have already discovered an information disclosure vulnerability in IE7 hours after the release of Microsoft’s long-awaited browser software upgrade.
The flaw stems from error in the handling of redirections for URLs with the “mhtml:” URI handler. Security notification firm Secunia reports that the same bug was discovered six months ago in IE6 but remains unresolved. In any case, the flaw has managed to find its way into the code-base of IE7.
For all WebMasters - IE7 is out officially
The bad thing is that all CSS tricks on your site that don’t work in IE7 are official BUGS of your site yet. The update will take you approximately 15 minutes.
Just go to http://www.microsoft.com and you wouldn’t miss it - the banner is more than big. One or two reboots and a couple of stu**d questions and you’ll have a brand new Internet Explorer with brand new bugs and security holes.
Happy surfing ! :)
Google Website Optimizer
Google’s website optimizer now lets you to test different website content on your website and landing pages. Graphical reports show which content engages your audience and results in the highest conversions.
Website Optimizer is a tool that can help users to improve the effectiveness of their websites in getting a return on their investment. By allowing you them to test different versions of their site content, they can determine what will best attract users and lead them to convert on their site.
In order to use WebSite Optimizer, you’ll need to have an active AdWords account. The difference between Google Analytics and WebSite Optimizer is that while Google Analytics tells the users what’s happening on their sites, Website Optimizer empowers them to change it. They can use Google Analytics to track user behavior, but Website Optimizer will give them the tools they need to improve their sites and get users to convert into customers.
Website Optimizer uses multivariate testing, which is a method of experimentation that allows you to test multiple variables - in this case, sections of a page - simultaneously. For example, using Website Optimizer, you could identify the headline, image, and promo text as the page sections you’d like to test, and then create three different variations for each page section. Users visiting your page during the experiment might therefore see Headline A, Image B, and Promo Text C all together, or Headline B, Image C, and Promo Text A.
You can apply for WebSite Optimizer Beta tester here.
